SGI representatives participate in the Preparatory Committee for the 2020 Review Conference of the Parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT)

New York, USA: From April 29 to May 5, SGI representatives participate in the Preparatory Committee for the 2020 Review Conference of the Parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT). On May 1, the group Faith Communities Concerned about Nuclear Weapons, of which SGI is a member, presented its 11th interfaith statement calling for progress toward the elimination of nuclear weapons. SGI also issued also an official statement to the Preparatory Committee.
