Members of the Future Division (FD) comprising secondary level students made full use of the June vacation to bond and learn together through various fun and exciting activities.
30 youth travelled around the island to check out famous food outlets while enriching their understanding of Singapore history as they passed by historical sites. Another 90 FD members took time to attend lessons to learn Japanese language and singing at Soka Youth Centre (SYC) and Senja Soka Centre respectively from 4 to 17 June 2009.
Instantaneous friendships were forged when 100 FD members engaged in friendly sports matches at Highpoint Community Services Association.
The June holiday activities culminated into a finale known as “FD Nite” on 24 June at SYC as 160 participants were entertained with games and performances. These June holiday activities have inspired the FD members and endowed them with courage and determination to achieve victory in the next half of the year!
