Feature: I Will Win, Sensei!
Adorning November 18, the Founding Day of Soka Gakkai, with Victories
Creative Life is a monthly magazine published by SGS. It contains editorials and essays by SGI President Ikeda, features and articles on Buddhist doctrines, as well as testimonies of local and overseas members.
Soka Times is published once every fortnight (once a month with effect from January 2020) and carries news of SGS’s latest endeavours for peace, culture and education. Other highlights include articles on applying Buddhism in daily life and testimonies from members.
The essays in this book are an account of President Ikeda’s travels to 17 out of the 54 countries he went. Addressing school-going children, the ‘Future Division’ of the Soka Gakkai, he talks about his encounters with both ordinary and eminent figures around the world.
In this compilation of 17 essays for younger Future Division members, President Ikeda presents eminent personalities who overcame life’s challenges to achieve happiness in their respective fields and rose to become acknowledged figures in the world.
In Our World To Make, authors Ved Nanda, a practicing Hindu and prominent figure in the field of international law, and Daisaku Ikeda, a Buddhist thinker and peace advocate, engage in an expansive dialogue that demonstrates that it is but a short leap — or no leap at all — from the personal practice of religion to resolute support for the emerging norms and institutions of global civil society. Our World To Make shows that religion practiced with integrity demands nothing less.
The Buddhism of the Sun, Illuminating the World – Towards a Century of Health: The Wisdom for Leading a Long Life of Good Fortune and Benefit is a special edition that contains valuable words of wisdom from SGI President Ikeda on how we can all lead healthy, fulfilling lives.
This is the Part Two of the new edition of Selected Excerpts of President Ikeda’s Guidance: The Wisdom for Creating Happiness and Peace.
“The Power of Hope: Thoughts on Peace and Human Rights in the Third Millennium” is a dialogue between two high-profile activists and thinkers who discuss concrete ways on how we can shift to a world that prioritises justice and human dignity.
