SSA Youth Brings Festive Mood to School’s Inter-racial and Inter-religious Celebrations

At the invitation of Northlight School, SSA Young Men Division member, Brendan Solomon Banks, represented SSA to put up an exciting magic show for some 750 students during the school’s Hari Raya Puasa celebrations on September 18, 2009.

“His presence not only brought excitement and fun to the school, but also added to the festive mood of the occasion,” shared Mr Tan Cher Chong, Head-of-Department for Pastoral Care and Career Guidance of the school. “I had a fantastic time. I’d really like to thank SSA for this wonderful experience. It’s a joyful and rewarding experience that money cannot buy,” shared Solomon after the event.

Established by the Ministry of Education in January 2007, Northlight School aims to provide an engaging education for youth and prepare them for lifelong learning and employability.
