Mercy Relief Launches ‘Cultivating a Grateful & Gracious Society’ Campaign
Mercy Relief together with its partners Northeast Community Development Council (CDC), South West CDC, the Singapore Soka Association (SSA) and Hyperbaric & Occupational Medicine (HOM) Pte Ltd, launched its ‘Cultivating a Grateful & Gracious Society’ campaign on August 10.

This 5-month long campaign is Mercy Relief’s local engagement initiative which aims to create awareness amongst Singaporeans of the plight of needy communities throughout the region. It serves as a reminder for us to be grateful for the blessings of peace, stability, security and prosperity we have enjoyed and avoid being fair-weather friends and passive bystanders. The Campaign aims to promote international volunteerism and encourage Singaporeans to be active and effective members of a global village; thus the slogan, “If we could care for strangers, caring wouldn’t be strange.”
