SSA Supports White Ribbon Campaign

In the month of November, SSA members partook in the promotion of the White Ribbon Campaign, where some 10,000 white ribbons were distributed to members and friends during the local discussion meetings.
This campaign aims to raise awareness on the condoning of violence against women and children and for people to speak up against such abuse.

About the White Ribbon Campaign
The inaugural campaign was launched in 2003 by the Working Committee 2 (now known as Transient Workers Count Too). Since 2004, this campaign has been spearheaded by the Association of Women for Action and Research (AWARE).
