This month, Soka Volunteers Group joined hands with Senja-Cashew Community Club for the ‘Ready for School’ program and distributed stationery packs for needy families on 10 January. Guest of Honour for this event was Minister Vivian Balakrishnan, Member of Parliament for the Cashew Division, Holland–Bukit Timah GRC.
On 16 January, we joined REACH-SLEC Senior Care Centre @Senja Valley for an inaugural seniors’ befriending through a day of fun-filled outing to the Chinatown Heritage Centre.
