Recruitment for Chingay Parade 2026

Calling all SGS members from Regions 3, 6, 8 and 9 — this is your time to shine!

We’re looking for 200 passionate and energetic performers to represent SGS in the spectacular Chingay Parade 2026! This year’s showcase will feature a graceful blend of contemporary dance and mass display designed to inspire and ignite dreams.

It’s SGS’s 42nd year at Chingay — let’s make it unforgettable. Don’t miss the chance to be part of this vibrant celebration of culture, unity, and creativity.

1. Who Can Join?
a. Open to SGS members, believers, and new friends from Region 3, 6, 8 and 9.
b. Singapore citizens and PRs will be given priority.
c. New friends must be accompanied by a practising member or leader who has also signed up to participate in Chingay 2026.
d. Leaders (including advisors) may participate if they are accompanying new friends or non-practicing family members from their districts, subject to region leaders’ approval.
e. Commitment: Trainings every Wednesday and Saturday, and participants’ meetings on designated Monday.

2. Age: 17 to 60 years old

3. Health Requirements
a. In good health. Able walk long distance and to stand for long hours;
b. Individuals on regular medication or with pre-existing medical conditions must declare this in the Recruitment form.

4. Others

– Recruitment is not open to Function and Cultural Groups.

– Selected participants will be notified after the audition.

Attire: Please come in t-shirt and stretchable pants with socks (no jeans or shorts please).

2026年妆艺大游行招募表演者

区域总部3、6、8及9的所有SGS会员们，你们闪耀的时刻来了！

我们正在招募200名热忱、充满活力的四部会员及朋友，代表SGS参加2026年妆艺大游行的表演。今年的表演将呈现当代舞蹈与大型汇演的优雅融合，旨在启发和点燃梦想。

这将是SGS第42次参与这个年度的妆艺大游行，让我们一起创造难忘的体验。不要错过参与这场欢庆文化、团结和创意，活力四射的盛会的良机。

1. 谁能参加？
a) 区域总部3、6、8及9的四部会员、会友和新朋友均可参加。
b) 新加坡公民及永久居民优先
c) 新朋友必须由报名参加2026妆艺的会员或干事陪同
d) 如果干事（包括参与）陪同该地区的新朋友或还没入信的家庭成员可报名，但取决于区域总部干事的支持。
e) 必须承诺参加：每周三和周六进行训练，以及在指定的周一举行的参加者会议。

2. 年龄：在17至60岁之间

3. 健康状况
a. 身体健康，能长时间步行和站立
b. 所有定期服药者或有现存疾病者均需在申请表上作出声明

4. 其他
——不招募运营和文化与艺术组成员
——入选者将在甄选后收到通知

服装： 请穿T恤和有弹性的裤子及袜子（请勿穿牛仔裤或短裤）。
