On 26 February, SGS General Director Tay Eng Kiat attended the Roses of Peace 10th Anniversary and Launch of Harmony Champions Programme held at The Istana. Guest-of-Honour for the event was President Halimah Yacob. An appreciation award was presented to SGS for our partnership over the years.
Roses of Peace (ROP) is a ground up, youth-driven initiative that seeks to bridge the gap in interfaith discourse by connecting faith, service and diversity to empower youth to be change leaders and peace ambassadors. Since 2015, SGS Student Division has partnered ROP in spreading the universal message of love, peace, harmony and kindness through the distribution of roses with handwritten messages of goodwill and harmony attached.
