The Women Division participants have been busy with the weekly National Day Parade (NDP) 2023 trainings since April. Let’s continue to cheer them on for their performance towards August 9!

SGS’s participation in National Day Parade (NDP) 2023 has kickstarted! Following a series of auditions in early March where more than 600 Women Division (WD)
On 1 February, NDP 2023 Exco Chairman COL Terence Ho and Show Chairman SLTC Chen Zhenhao led the NDP 2023 Organising Committee team to call on General Director Tay Eng Kiat at the SGS Headquarters.
On 3 & 4 February 2023, 80 participants from SGS Choir Groups and 80 Future Division members performed in Act 3 and Act 5 respectively of Chingay 2023 titled, “Embrace Tomorrow”.
The theme for Chingay 2023 has been set as “Embrace Tomorrow”! In addition to the SGS Choir Groups who will be putting up a mass choir recital, 80 Future Division (FD) members will also be participating in Chingay 2023. This will mark SGS’s 39th year of participation in the annual event.
On 5 November, Young Women Division Sunflower Dance Ensemble put up a contemporary dance item at Our Family Fest 2022 held at Our Tampines Hub.
Practice for Chingay 2023 has kickstarted! Next year, SGS Choir groups and Future Division members will be participating in the Chingay Performance in two separate items.
On 18 August, People’s Association (PA) Group Director (Partnership) Mr Kia Siang Wei and his team called on SGS General Director Tay Eng Kiat at the SGS Headquarters.

On 15 April, the SGS Arts and Culture (A&C) Group held an online Chamber Concert for the very first time.
The NDP 2022 journey has begun! Over the weekends from 12 March to 2 April, some 200 youths participated in the virtual audition sessions.
