On 24 September, Soka Kindergarten (SK) and PPIS held an online exchange programme where the young children from both institutions shared their sustainability efforts with one another.
Nothing can stop us from celebrating our 56th National Day! Though the main celebration will only be held on 21 August this year, our little ones from the Soka Kindergarten have already soaked in the National Day mood through a day of joyous celebration in school with their friends and teachers on 6 August.
During the recent June holidays, our Soka Kindergarten (SK) K1 students had much fun bonding with their families while learning about how individual efforts could contribute to saving the environment. This initiative is part of the Early Childhood Development Agency Singapore’s “Dream Big, Start Small” movement that the School has embarked on.
On 13 March, Soka Kindergarten (SK) held their first Open House for 2021.

School has reopened for our Soka Kindergarten students and teachers since June 2! Let’s cheer them on for their great efforts amid phase one of the easing of circuit breaker!
Like us, our Soka Kindergarten students did not stay idle during this circuit breaker period. Thanks to all our passionate teachers and with the great support from the parents, our Nursery to K2 students were meaningfully engaged through home-based activities and were able to stay connected with their friends and teachers via video conferencing. Well done kiddos!
A new school term has opened at the Soka Kindergarten on January 2! On this significant Entrance day, the School Founder Dr Daisaku Ikeda sent a warm congratulatory message to all the 223 excited students, sharing his hopes for all the princes and princesses of the Soka Kindergarten to grow into people who could work to realise peace in this world and for all of them to become happy.
On July 27, Soka Kindergarten joined hands with community learning centres to celebrate the spirit of lifelong learning at the annual Tampines Learning Festival at Tampines Community Plaza.
