90 Soka Volunteer Group (SVG) members and new friends gathered at Bayfront event space for the Orange Ribbon Run, Singapore’s only Race Against Racism.
Bright and early in the morning, 20 volunteers from the Soka Volunteers Group (SVG) gathered at the Rainbow Centre (Margaret Drive School) to participate in the annual Senior Camp for students with Autism or multiple physical disabilities who are aged between 13 – 18 years old.
Over the weekend on April 9 and 10, 100 volunteers from the Soka Volunteers Group (SVG) took part in the SPD Flag Day, volunteering their time for a good cause.
On March 3, 2016, six volunteers from the Soka Volunteers Group (SVG) accompanied 10 elderly clients from SPD@Toa Payoh for a day-tour to the S.E.A. Aquarium located in Resorts World Sentosa.
The iconic bright yellow t-shirt reflects the cheerful personalities of the 17 Soka Volunteers Group (SVG) volunteers who were at SPD (Serving People with Disability) for the last volunteering service at the Day Activity Centre (DAC).
The rays of the sun were barely up for one hour on the morning of November 28 when young women volunteers from SSA assembled at Tampines West Community Club for “Bag of Hope 3”, a SSA community project.
A total of 110 performers from the Golden Lion Dance Troupe, Sunflower Dance Ensemble, Soka Chorus and Soka Junior Choir brought cheer and the festive spirit of the Lunar New Year through a heartwarming concert to some 100 patients and visitors at the Singapore General Hospital (SGH) on February 27, 2015—the ninth day of the Lunar New Year.
Some 60 Soka Volunteers Group (SVG) and Student Division (SD) members worked hand-in-hand to accompany 29 clients from SPD (formerly known as Society for the Physically Disabled) for their visit to bustling streets of Chinatown to soak in the festive Lunar New Year spirit on February 5, 2015.
