An Afternoon of Games and Tea with Residents from St. Andrew’s Nursing Home (Henderson)

It’s the third time that members from the Soka Volunteers Group (SVG) are returning to the familiar faces of residents at the St. Andrew’s Nursing Home (SANH), this time with the objective of bringing joy and warmth through an afternoon of interactive games.

The SVG members conducted activities such as finger painting, balloon and ping pong play to the delight of the residents, followed by enjoying afternoon tea together.

Ms Tan Juay Meng, a SVG member shares her impression:

“I’m very happy to be able to volunteer my time for the second time at SANH. As I’m not experienced in taking care of and communicating with seniors, I am very pleased to be able to complete this project. This also gives me greater confidence to continue participating in future volunteering activities!”
