With the objective of bringing joy and warmth to our community partners through the Mid-Autumn Festival, Soka Volunteers Group (SVG) members spent a meaningful afternoon interacting with residents from the St. Andrew’s Nursing Home (Henderson) (SANH).
The lively engagements included SVG members teaching the SANH residents simple handicraft session to make paper lanterns, enjoying dialogues with them over mooncakes and tea. Ms Er Pei Ling, a SVG volunteer shared, “It is enriching to engage the elderly and learn from them. I feel happy when I see smiles on their faces!”
