Community Volunteers visit SGS Headquarters for Learning Journey

On 15 November, SGS hosted a learning journey initiated by a community interest group of 14 volunteers, serving with the Singapore Armed Forces Volunteer Corps (SAFVC). The visit to SGS Headquarters is the latest in a series of visits to various places of worship, to understand different faiths in Singapore and deepen their appreciation of our nation’s religious diversity.

The visit was hosted by SGS Men Division Chief, with support from SGS Youth Division leaders, representatives, and the Soka Women Light of Wisdom Group.

During the programme, the guests explored the SGS Exhibition Room, where they learned about our history, founding principles, and activities. They also engaged in small-group dialogue sessions, fostering meaningful exchanges to deepen their understanding of our Buddhist philosophy and SGS’s role in the community.
