SSA Golden Lion Dance Troupe emerged champion amongst the four teams in the free hand planned routine sparring in the nationwide Wushu competition held in August. They also clinched the sixth position in the weapon planned routine sparring and 10th position in Individual Taiji segment respectively.
In July, seven representatives of the Golden Lion Dance Troupe also performed at a closing ceremony in a community event held in commemoration of the Racial Harmony month at the heartlands of Tampines. Minister for National Development Mr Mah Bow Tan was the Guest of Honor for this event.
