While many people acknowledge the unique functions of our left and right brains for logical and imaginative thinking respectively, not many people have created ways to make full use of these unique abilities.
Professor Wei Tsin Fu gave a talk on November 8 at Tampines Soka Centre where he shared his personal experience in using piano as a “bridge” to activate the fullest potential of people’s left and right brains.
Titled “Getting to know the functions of our brain, enhancing learning capacity”, the talk was organised by Opus One Music School. SSA supported the talk as part of its community and educational activities. The talk was attended by some 450 members of the public, including parents of Soka Kindergarten.
