“Has Schooling Interfered with My Education?”
This was the topic explored at the 9th SSA Student Peace Lecture (SPL) held at the Singapore Management University Mochtar Riady Auditorium on December 21. The SPL is an annual lecture organised by the SSA Student Division. It serves to provide a platform for eminent individuals to speak on varied issues pertaining to peace education. It is also an avenue for promoting dialogue and learning among students and youths on subjects outside of classrooms and textbooks, inspiring them to lead lives that create value and contributing to society at large.
This year’s lectures was delivered by Ms Betsy Lim, Senior Lecturer from the National Institute of Education (NIE) and chaired by SSA Youth Chief Leonard Koh, a secondary school Principal.
