This May, SGS engaged in the following community events as part of our continuing friendship and service to the community.
On 10 May, Chairman Tay Eng Kiat and General Director Goh Kim Hua attended Tzu Chi Singapore’s 60th anniversary celebrations, with President Tharman Shanmugaratnam as Guest of Honour. The same evening, SGS Vice Chairman Lee Cheng Wee attended the St. Joseph’s Church (Bukit Timah) 180th Anniversary Dinner as a representative in the Senja-Cashew Harmony Circles, where Dr Vivian Balakrishnan was the Guest of Honour.
On 15 May, Soka Volunteers Group members joined Jampacked West Coast by Jamiyah Singapore to help pack food supplies for beneficiaries in the community.
