In the spirit to share the joy of spring with the community and to bring the Chinese New Year cheer to the less privileged, five Arts and Culture groups from SSA came together on the evening of February 23 to put up a mini-concert for the patients and visitors at the Singapore General Hospital (SGH).
The lion dance performance by the Golden Lion Dance Troupe, beautiful dance by the Sunflower Dance Ensemble and the melodious rendition of well-loved songs and music by the Soka Chorus, Soka Junior Choir and Young Men Division Courageous Musicians (Brass Band) lifted the spirits of the audience. When the concert ended, there seemed to be fresh hope in the air, as the crowd left the venue with smiles of satisfaction on their faces.
