Showing Concern to Seniors Who are Staying Alone

With the gradual easing of the circuit breaker measures, SSA has recently reached out once again to some of our seniors who are staying alone with no caregivers to ensure they are keeping well. A care pack with some daily necessities was also presented to them during the visit with the appointed leaders observing the safe distancing measures. Let’s always remember to show our concern to people around us in our own unique ways during these difficult times!

All people have a natural desire to be needed, to have their importance to others tangibly confirmed. Our challenge is to build a society in which people feel truly valued and fulfilled throughout the course of their lives. Recognizing and treasuring the contributions of older people is essential to the long-term flourishing of any society.
