Over the past month, Soka Volunteers Group (SVG) members have been engaging with our partners – the PPIS and SPD Toa Payoh – over virtual sessions to bring joy and hope to the young and old.
Despite not being able to meet in persons during this period, our SVG members were not disheartened and initiated a series of engagements with our partners to upkeep everyone’s spirits.
Interactive hands-on sessions through games and useful health tips were also injected into the sharing. Children from PPIS also lovingly handmade greeting cards for the elderly at SPD Toa Payoh in celebration of Grandparents Day.
Our deepest appreciation goes to our partners and to all who have participated in these sessions!
