SSA is humbled to be awarded the inaugural Friends of Community Care (FOCC) Award organised by the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC), in recognition of our longstanding contributions to the Community Care sector. This Award was given to nominated organisations outside of the Community Care sector, and were shortlisted and assessed by a panel comprising representatives from the AIC, the Ministry of Health (MOH) and past and present leaders of the Community Care Sector.
SSA was one of the 12 Award winners for the FOCC Award that was announced during the Community Care Day 2020 virtual event held on 30 October 2020 that was also streamed live on AIC Facebook page. Guest-of-Honour for the event was Mr Masagos Zulkifli, Minister For Social and Family Development and Second Minister For Health. In attendance to receive the FOCC Award was SSA Management Committee Vice Chairman Mr Ong Chin Chong and Honorary Secretary Mr Yong Kim San.
