On the Saturday morning of 11 September, SSA Chairperson Mdm Chan Mei Wah was invited as Guest of Honour to witness the graduation of the Chinese Caregivers-To-Caregivers (C2C) Training organised by the Caregivers Alliance Limited (CAL). SSA members comprised close to half of the 30 graduates.
In her speech, Chairperson Mdm Chan applauded the participants who have signed up for the 12-weeks caregivers course amidst their busy schedules to arm themselves with the skills sets to care for their loved ones. CAL Chief Executive Officer Mr Tim Lee also expressed his appreciation to volunteers who have stepped forward to help in the course and urged everyone to continue advancing with hope and seek out support even amid dire circumstances.
