On 21 December, SSA participated in the ‘Peace & Prosperity Singapura 2019’ held in commemoration of Singapore’s bicentennial year. This event, organised by Tao One Ltd and various collaborative partners, was a nationwide initiative to celebrate the nation’s peace and prosperity, and aims to foster a deeper appreciation of inter-racial and inter-religious harmony amongst Singaporeans. Minister for Education Mr Ong Ye Kung was the Guest of Honour for the event.
SSA’s Golden Lion Dance Troupe was part of the new records set for the Singapore Book of Records for the “Largest Mass Lion Dance Display” and the “Largest Lion Eye-dotting Ceremony” held at the event.
