After close to 3 months of hard work, 100 of our Future Division members and another 100 Merdeka Generation members wow-ed the audience at the annual Chingay Parade held at the F1 Pit over 31 January and 1 February.
This year marks SGS’s 36th year of participation in the Chingay Parade, an annual international street parade held during the Lunar New Year period. This year, SSA participated in two performing items – the Opening Segment where 100 (Secondary 1) Future Division members entered with the Guest-of-Honour (Prime Minister and President for both days respectively); and “Bridge of Harmony” where 100 Merdeka Generation (Singaporeans born between 1950–1959) leaders performed in a travelling dance item. Well done all SSA performers!
