On July 2, some 110 students from the Student and Future Division participated in a community event entitled the “MILK RUN” held at Zouk car park. This event was organised to raise S$1 million for at-risk youth and children through MILK RUN 06 — an event organised by voluntary welfare organisations MILK (Mainly I Love Kids) Fund and Beyond Social Services. Guest of Honour for this event was Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports, and Chairman of the National Youth Council, Dr Vivian Balakrishnan.
SSA students participated in the cheer segment as they led the crowd in a mass-dance item before the event started.
