The Lotus Sutra Exhibition concludes in Singapore with 62,552 attendees

After the Lotus Sutra Exhibition (LSE) was held at the Arts house from October 1st to 25th, it continued to be shared with community from November 1st to 18th at the Singapore Soka Association Headquarters, where 3 levels of the building were transformed into the exhibition ground.Over the 18 days at SSA HQ, a total of 330 exhibition guides across all 4-divisions were rostered on duty, of which 19 of them are Secondary school students from the Future Division (FD). The FD guides showed great enthusiasm and earnestness in their preparation, studying the exhibition materials and giving their best in fulfilling their role as a guide.The exhibition welcomed various groups and visitors including Tampines Changkat Community Club, Tampines Polyview Residents’ Committee, Northeast Community Development Council, Tzu Chi Taiwan, Metta Day Rehabilitation Centre for the Elderly, Ministry of Home Affairs Research and Statistics Department, among others.A grand total of 62,522 visitors viewed the exhibition in the Arts House and in SSA over a 43-day period, putting a beautiful concluding note to the hosting of the Lotus Sutra Exhibition in Singapore in this significant year commemorating SGS’s Golden Jubilee.
