On March 4, President Yoshihisa Baba of Soka University and President Arnoud De Meyer of Singapore Management University signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Soka University and Singapore Management University at the inaugural Wee Kim Wee – Soka International Seminar on Global Peace & Understanding held in the Administrative Building of Singapore Management University. The MOU opens the way for student and academic exchanges in enhancing partnerships and collaborations arising out of shared research between the two institutions of higher learning.
The full-day International Seminar, organised by the Wee Kim Wee Centre, Singapore Management University and supported by the Singapore Soka Association, sought to bring individuals together to work towards the creation of a deeper understanding of peace.
