The 8th Annual Ikeda Peace and Harmony Lecture will take place this year on 23 September, 6.30pm at the Singapore Management University (SMU). We are honoured to have distinguished speaker Mr George Yeo, Visiting Scholar, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy National University of Singapore & Founding Patron of its Asia Competitiveness Institute, to share on the topic, “A Broader Mind, A Bigger Heart”.
Lecture Synopsis:
The world is fracturing, opening up new fault lines between countries and within human communities. At such a time, it is important that we see the world from the perspective of others and not be too quick to jump to conclusions. Peace and harmony begin with us.
