The Covid-19 pandemic has escalated our usage of digital tools while digitization has enabled our lives to become more convenient and efficient. However, there are still many more things we can learn and protect ourselves against cyber threats or scams.
In line with 2023’s theme for International Women’s Day which is, “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality” by UN Women, the SGS Women and Young Women Division will be collaborating with Infocomm Media Development Authority’s SG Digital Office (SDO) to organise the this year’s Soka Women Lecture, titled, “Empowering Women In The Digital World “ on 11 March 2023, Saturday, at the SGS Headquarters.
Let’s pick up tips from the SDO’s Digital Ambassadors on how we can increase our awareness of the common phishing threats out there; gain knowledge on how to safeguard personal information, as well as stay vigilant against scammers.
This lecture will be conducted in English with Chinese translation. All are welcome.

About SG Digital Office
The SG Digital Office (SDO) was set up in June 2020 by the Infocomm Media Development Authority to accelerate digital adoption and augment the Government’s initiatives to build an inclusive digital society. In February 2021, President Halimah Yacob launched the Digital for Life (DfL) movement to build a more digitally inclusive society. In support of the DfL movement, SDO designs and creates whole-of-nation efforts to engage and equip individuals, families and youths, businesses, and the community-at-large to adopt digital knowledge, skills and tools to participate meaningfully in the new social and economic environment.

为了配合联合国妇女署 2023 年国际妇女节主题 “#数字包容#：创新和技术推动性别平等”，SGS 妇人部及女子部将与信息通信媒体发展局的新加坡数码转型办事处（SDO）合作，举办今年的创价女性讲座，主题为 “数码时代，女性赋能”。

关于新加坡数码转型办事处
新加坡数码转型办事处（SDO）是由资讯通信媒体发展局于2020年6月成立的，旨在加速我国数码普及化的步伐，增强政府建立一个包容的数码社会的举措。
