On 14 April, SSA hosted a visit by Dr Ang Hak Seng, Commissioner of Charities (COC) and Deputy Secretary of Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, at the SSA Headquarters. This is part of COC’s increased engagement and outreach efforts to get to know the Charities, their programmes and people better. SSA General Director Tay Eng Kiat and Chairman Michael Yap had a lively exchange with Dr Ang and presented him with books by SGI President Daisaku Ikeda at the end of the session.
