On 30 August, SGS General Director Tay Eng Kiat and representatives attended a Thank You Reception at the Istana hosted by President Halimah Yacob for the National Day Parade 2023 Executive Committee and participating organisations. In her speech, President Halimah highlighted SGS performance in Act 2 of the show where “the visuals of the flower blooming represent how our nation was able to overcome adversities and blossom into what it is today”.
