On 7 June, SGS General Director Tay Eng Kiat and senior Management Committee members welcomed Minister of Culture, Community and Youth & Second Minister for Law Mr Edwin Tong to the SGS Headquarters.
During the visit, Minister Tong was given an overview of SGS history, our Buddhist philosophy, membership and activities and engaged in discussion with all present.
This year also marks the 50th year of our official registration under the Societies Act 1966 of the Statutes of Singapore since January 6, 1972.
