On the second day of the Lunar New Year of February 6, the SSA’s Soka New Century Orchestra and the Soka Chorus performed at the Istana Open House in the presence of President Halimah Yacob, bringing much festive cheer to the Istana grounds.
The Soka New Century Orchestra presented a 30-minute music repertoire, while the Soka Chorus presented a medley of 10 Lunar New Year songs.
This is the sixth year that SSA has been invited to share the joy of the arts and culture to the community at the Istana Open House, and both the Symphony Orchestra and the Soka Chorus have previously performed at the Istana Open House.
