Soka Culture Centre

The Soka Culture Centre is located at Jurong West Street 76. Mr Peter Chen, then Senior Minister of State for Education and Member of Parliament for Hong Kah GRC officially opened the centre on August 30, 1998.

The centre is design-built as a facility that fulfils both the needs of a place for religious gathering, as well as a venue for the promotion of arts and cultural activities. The Soka Culture Centre has a 500-seat concert hall cum auditorium equipped with sound and lighting facilities. SCC also has two exhibition halls, an 80-seat amphitheatre and several small rooms for meeting and conference purposes.

Exhibitions featured include photographic works of SGI President Ikeda and “Liu Kang at 88” that showcased the late Singapore pioneer artist’s oil paintings.
