Following the devastating flash floods on 26 August 2026, SGS donated a sum of S$10,000 to the Singapore Red Cross to support humanitarian relief and recovery efforts.

A symbolic presentation ceremony took place on 11 September at the Singapore Red Cross where SGS Chairman Tay Eng Kiat, General Director Goh Kim Hua and Honorary Secretary Yong Kim San presented the cheque to SRC Secretary General and CEO Benjamin J. Williams and Assistant Secretary General, Operations, Charis Chan.

We extend our deepest condolences to those who have lost loved ones and our heartfelt sympathy to all affected by this tragedy. Our prayers are with the affected communities and all working on relief and recovery efforts.
