On 11 July, SGS was honoured to host the Cashew Racial & Religious Harmony Circle Appointment Ceremony at Senja Soka Centre, welcoming some 30 guests. The event was graced by Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Adviser to Holland–Bukit Timah GRC Grassroots Organisations.
Congratulations to SGS Vice Chairman Mr Lee Cheng Wee on his appointment as Vice Chairperson of the Cashew Harmony Circle.
Guests also toured the “Living a Value-Creative Life” exhibition at Level 2 of Senja Soka Centre, which introduces the philosophy of value-creation based on Nichiren Buddhism and highlights SGS’s community initiatives and members’ contributions to peace, culture and education.
Together, we continue building bridges of friendship and creating value for a more harmonious society.
