On 24 April 2010, two SSA youth members attended the Exploration into Faith (EiF) Inter-faith Dialogue organised by the South East CDC. The session themed “Extraordinary Faith & My Mundane Life”, hosted by The Buddhist Library, sought to engage people of different faith to discuss how faith helps an individual in overcoming challenges and how our religious beliefs impact our daily life.
Through the dialogue, the participants understood that if each person is willing to learn more of another person’s beliefs, we could be more receptive and tolerant to people around us. The dailogue was conducted in small group of 8 to 12 persons and facilitated by representatives from South East CDC was a second session since it’s launch in November 2009.
