The Lotus Sutra Exhibition concludes with 51,155 Visitors on the 25th Day

Exhibition will be extended from 1-18 November at SSA Headquarters

As of the 25th and concluding day of the Lotus Sutra Exhibition (LSE), a grand total of 51,155 people visited the exhibition at the Arts House.

SSA would like to thank everyone for your support and contribution in making this possible.

This indeed is of great significance as SSA celebrates her 50th anniversary this year, with the hosting of LSE as one of the key commemorative events of the Golden Jubilee celebrations.

The hosting of the LSE in Singapore aims to exemplify the essence of cherishing each individual, embodying the spirit of Bodhisattva Never Disparaging in respecting the dignity of life of all living beings as taught in the Lotus Sutra.Ambassador Mohammad Alami Musa, President of Islamic Council of Singapore (MUIS) and Head of Studies in Inter-Religious Relations in Plural Societies Programme at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies at Nanyang Technological University, shared his impression after viewing the exhibition:

“I see many parallels and similarities. These are substantive matters that will advance our desire
to strengthen peace and sustain our harmonious coexistence.
I like to congratulate Singapore Soka Association on its 50th Anniversary and in organising such a wonderful exhibition.”

In response to the overwhelming support and request to extend the exhibition, SSA is pleased to announce the extension of LSE from 1-18 November 2017 at the Singapore Soka Association Headquarters, from 10am-9pm (last entry at 8pm daily).The extension of LSE is a wonderful opportunity to continue sharing the message of peace and harmonious coexistence to more people.
