On 4 May, SGS welcomed some 20 residents of the Punggol community to the Punggol Soka Centre (PSC) under the ‘Punggol Harmony Cycle of Faith’ event. Jointly organised by Punggol Harmony Circles and Punggol West Community Sports Network, this event promotes interfaith understanding and harmony though sports activity. Participants had the opportunity to explore scenic routes in Punggol while visiting four religious organizations representing various faith traditions.
Despite the heavy downpour, the visitors arrived in good cheer. They were given an introduction of SGS, our activities and the practice of Nichiren Buddhism, and also toured the exhibition featuring, “The Interconnectedness of All Life – Advancing Global Citizenship in Action” exhibition and the “Seeds of Hope and Action” exhibition at Level 3.
