On the evening of 16 April, SSA Chairperson Mdm Chan Mei Wah attended a virtual break fast (Buka Puasa) event alongside community and religious leaders under the invitation of the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS). Guest of Honour for the event was Prime Minister (PM) Lee Hsien Loong.
Together with other grassroots and religious organisations that have contributed to the society in various ways since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, SSA’s humble efforts were also featured in a video montage that was streamed live during the event.
