A total of 2,115 candidates partook in the Intermediate Examination and Entrance Examination at the SSA Study Examinations held at the Serangoon Junior College on March 12.
Some 47 senior citizen members took the Oral Entrance examinations in dialects; Hokkien, Teochew and Cantonese. In all, the youngest candidate was 16 years old while the oldest candidate was 85 years old.
