On October 28, about 106 graduates of the 13th cohort of Soka Kindergarten joyously presented their achievements for the three years of explorative learning and discovery at their graduation day held at the school.
Transforming what they have learnt into a showcase of exhibits and spirited drama performances, they won much hearty applause from the audience at the event.
The graduation day event was held over two sessions for the morning and afternoon classes. Graduates presented drama performances based on school founder Dr Daisaku Ikeda’s children stories “The Prince and the Coral Sea” and “Rainbow Over the Pacific”. In addition, they also put up their own creative illustrations of various topics namely, “We Want Peace”, “The Insect World”, etc.
On this significant occasion, Dr Ikeda also sent his congratulatory message for the graduates, urging them to put in their best efforts to grow and shine in their own special ways. SSA Chairman Ong Bon Chai attended the event and conferred graduation medals to each of the students.
Ms Isabel Qin, mother of graduate Farland Wen, shared, “Both my children love the school and enjoy its learning activities. Farland’s elder sister Aimee, has successfully immersed into the primary school curriculum and learning pace. I am confident that the school’s discovery learning environment has enabled my children to forge a strong foundation in their young lives.”
