Jeju, SOUTH KOREA: On May 14, Jeju National University cohosts an academic symposium with Soka University in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of its conferral of an Honorary Doctorate of Letters upon SGI President Ikeda. May 2019 marks the 20th anniversary of President Ikeda’s first visit to Jeju Island and also the dedication of a monument to Japan-South Korea friendship at the Soka Gakkai Fukuoka Training Center.
