This year’s National Day has an added significance for 43 fortune babies and their families as the annual Fortune Baby ceremony was conducted online for the very first time on August 9! SSA General Director and the 4 Divisional Chiefs attended the online session to congratulate the families on this auspicious occasion.
Mr Tay shared, “Our fortune babies indeed have a strong karmic bond, not only with their parents, but also with the Gohonzon, Nichiren Daishonin and Ikeda Sensei. Let’s foster and nurture them to be great individuals of faith who will contribute to the happiness of the world.”
Following the meeting, special arrangements were also made to deliver the prayer beads and pouches to the families respectively by the Men Division leaders while observing the safe distancing measures. Congratulations to everyone!
