On 23 January, Soka Kindergarten held Lunar New Year celebrations with the students and teaching staff. This annual affair saw the students dressed up in the traditional costumes, learning Lunar New Year songs, history of the zodiac animals, experiencing the traditional lion dance and welcoming the God of Fortune’s special appearance at the School. SSA General Director Tay Eng Kiat was also present at the morning’s celebrations.

New School Term Starts at Soka Kindergarten
A new school term has opened at the Soka Kindergarten on 2 January! On this significant Entrance day, the School Founder Dr Daisaku Ikeda sent a warm congratulatory message to all the 223 excited students, sharing his hopes for all the princes and princesses of the Soka Kindergarten to grow into people who could work to realise peace in this world and for all of them to become happy.
