SSA was invited by the Child Care Division of Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS) to host a learning journey visit on 23 September 2011 at the Soka Kindergarten (SK) for a group of 31 educators who were participating in the MCYS’ Child Care Seminar 2011 themed “Celebrating Opportunities: Raising Professionalism in Early Years”. Through the visit, the seminar organiser aimed to provide the educators an insight to the programmes, curriculum and pedagogical approaches of various early childhood educational institutions.
During the visit, the educators were introduced to Soka Kindergarten’s mission, vision and the school’s curriculum. At the end of the visit, a certificate of appreciation was presented to the kindergarten.
