Soka Volunteers Group members attend talk on Trauma Informed Care

On 3 June, some 60 Soka Volunteers Group (SVG) members attended a talk on Trauma Informed Care conducted by Caregivers Alliance Limited.

This introductory talk explored what a shared understanding of trauma entails, its prevalence in Singapore, and how trauma can be caused by events like the COVID-19 pandemic. SVG members also learnt how to identify trauma in children and youth caused by Adverse Childhood Experiences.
