SSA representatives attended the NDP 2009 Appreciation held at Suntec Convention Centre Ballroom 2 on 26 August 2009.
Along with Ministry of Education and People’s Association, Singapore Soka Association, represented by Chairman Mr Michael Yap, was presented the Gold Certificate of Appreciation from Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Mr Teo Chee Hean.
Back in SSA, a post-NDP celebration was held on 29 August at SSA Headquarters following the successful performance at NDP 2009. SAF personnel who journeyed closely with ‘The Little Red Dot” were also present at the celebration.
To mark the friendship forged through this collaboration, General Director Ong Bon Chai and SSA Chairman Michael Yap presented the SSA Goodwill Award and certificate respectively to both NDP 2009 Exco Chairman BG Tan Chuan-Jin and Show Chairman COL Desmond Tan.
